A Mission Centered Around You
Praesum Healthcare strives to provide dignified behavioral health and addiction services that help you return to a healthier life. Today, we operate more than thirty of the top behavioral health centers in the Eastern United States and proudly serve thousands of individuals and families each year.
A Foundation For Success
Praesum Healthcare was founded in 2004 with a simple idea: Every patient should have a chance to overcome mental health and substance use disorders through quality treatment centers and comprehensive behavioral health services.
We saw a growing demand for compassionate, evidence-based treatments and developed our services from the ground up to address the needs of our communities. By treating the whole patient and not just the symptoms, we regularly update our offerings so that our addiction and behavioral care can make a lasting impact. We are consistently refining our services and searching for new locations so that no call for help goes unanswered.
In 2004, we opened our first medical detox facility, Sunrise Detox, in Lake Worth Beach, Florida, and grew from there. Along the way, we’ve expanded to several states, offering every level of care in substance use treatment. In 2012, we started The Counseling Center in Freehold, New Jersey. to treat both substance use and mental health disorders in a structured Intensive Outpatient Program. Evolve Recovery Center started in 2020, and AffinityOne Structured Living started in 2018, bringing residential addiction treatment programs to patients needing ongoing support.
Praesum Healthcare is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management. We swiftly centralized routine administrative tasks so that our clinicians at over thirty centers can focus on what’s most important -- your health and recovery.
Praesum has provided services to well over 200,000 patients in various stages of the care continuum and today operates more than thirty of the top addiction treatment and behavioral health centers in the Eastern United States, proudly serving thousands of individuals and families each year.
